Animal careers
Would you like to work with animals one day? There are many career paths to explore in this rewarding field! You will have to find out what kind of education is needed. Some careers require a high-school certificate, a college diploma or university degree. It's also a good idea to learn about job prospects and salaries! Also think about where you want to work. Animal careers are available in a variety of places like animal shelters, veterinary clinics, zoos, etc. Or you can be self-employed and work for yourself!
Here are some other things to think about:
- Which school subjects do you like?
- How many years of studying do you want to do after graduating from high school?
- Would you like to work with pets, farm animals or wildlife?
- Would you like to work inside or outside?
- Do you also like to work with people?
- Do you want to be your own boss?
